Do you love Robert Duvall?
I just read a piece on him in Entertainment Weekly. He is just so cool and good in everything. never a leading man, but always the best man...

How can you not like the dude?

He may be the only actor I like in any role he plays. But then I saw like 40 or 50 minutes of Assasination Tango. Holy shit was that a boring movie by him.

While I hated being dragged to 4 Christmases... I loved him in it. Faverau was enjoyable too.

Great actor, but his movies have never been "must see" for me. I always liked his cop role in Falling Down.

Not that it matters to me but what about his views is it that bother you? I've actually never heard anything from aside from his movie work.

This about sums it up for me. I think he's a very good actor but I don't go out of my way to see films he's starring in.

He'd been around for years, mostly doing TV, but he didn't register with me as a recognizable face until TRUE GRIT and M*A*S*H. And then came THE GODFATHER and the rest is history.

I'm sure some people don't like that he wasn't in Godfather III as a missed opportunity . Otherwise, what not to like?
