OK I'm in for the POTA Legacy Collection repackage. I never upgraded from DVD and I do like that new cover.

Damn, they're practically giving that Planet of the Apes set away. Bought my dad the DVD set a few years ago (before Blu-Ray existed) for at least twice that much.

Hate Guns n Roses, but love 3D and the price on their 3D Blu-Ray is decent so will pick that up.

It's been that price for ages at Amazon.

Is the Planet of Apes with movie money set a Best Buy exclusive?

I preordered the Jack Reacher and Top Gun Blu-rays with movie cash for Transformers and both are on backorder.

That's not the same set. I can't even find a listing for the new one on Amazon.

I think that's the same set, it just repackaged and comes with the movie money. Anyone know if there is a difference?

I think that is the smallest offering I've ever seen in the BB ad

Anyone wanting the POTA re-packed collection shown above can get it at Wal-Mart right now for the same exact price. DVD, too. Saw them at my local store yesterday, but they were not in the regular movie section. Instead, they were at the front of the store, on those displays they often feature new releases on, near where you first enter.

All the content is the same, but I was just pointing out that it isn't the same set that has been available at that price before. This one was just released last week.

The only differences are new artwork, a slimmer case (instead of a separate case for each movie), and movie cash for the new film.

It's a great deal if you don't have the older release already and are planning on seeing the new film.

Re: Best Buy Ad 6/29-7/5/2014

Kinda tempted on the POTA set, I would pay $21.63 for the set and 50 cents for the movie ticket, so $22.13 for the movie and set.

I've never seen any of the originals. I've seen the reboot and liked them, and I liked the trailer for the new one. I have never seen a Charlton Heston movie, coincidentally.
