How is Live Free of Die Hard so so so much better than A Good Day to Die Hard?

I thought they were about equal in quality, myself. I can imagine someone liking both or hating both, but not one more than the other. Why so many people liked Live Free but acted like Good Day was some kind of unwatchable disaster is beyond me.

Answer = chemistry between the main characters - loved Willis & Justin Long in DH4 / painful to watch Willis & Whoever in DH5.

The latter three, IMHO, are all much better than AGDTDH.

The main problem with Live Free Or Die Hard was too many over-the-top action scenes.

The main problem with A Good Day To Die Hard was everything.
