I only read that book because it won the Hugo, and when I have nothing else to read, I read something that won Hugos or Nebulas. Anyway, I thought it was a pretty great book. Really the whole series was well worth reading. Finding books like that is really the whole reason I read the award-winning books, most of them don't do that much for me but every so often I find something new that I really like.

Finished Innocents Abroad by Mark Twain. It was his best selling book of his lifetime, and it's still good reading from one end to the other.
Finished Flappers and Philosophers by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I liked nearly all of the stories and recommended that Mrs Danger read it.
Read Moon of Three Rings by Andre Norton.
What a disappointment! I liked Andre Norton books when I was a kid, and this was one of my favorites. A quick Google search shows that it was a lot of people's favorite. Now I find the wordsmithing to be so bad that it was a slog to get through to the end. Life was easier when I didn't notice the words and just absorbed the data. There's a pretty good story in there. But I'm done with re-reading Andre Norton books.

Just Finished:
The Thousand Dollar Tan Line by Rob Thomas and Jennifer Graham
I liked it. It's a good way to continue the series if they don't make another movie or tv series.
Started:
Nothing Special by Geoff Herbach
