Supernatural -- "King of the Damned" -- 5/06/14

"King of the Damned" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

ABADDON BLACKMAILS CROWLEY - Castiel (Misha Collins) captures one of Metatron's angels (guest star Gordon Woolvet) and asks Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help with the interrogation. Dean eagerly accepts, which doesn't go unnoticed by Sam. Meanwhile, Abaddon (guest star Alaina Huffman) demands Crowley (Mark Sheppard) help her kill Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles). When he refuses, she reveals her shocking bargaining chip. Also, Castiel (Misha Collins) sets a meeting with Gadreel (guest star Tahmoh Penikett). PJ Pesce directed the episode written by Eugenie Ross-Leming & Brad Buckner (#921).

At least this was better than "Bloodlines" which most of you hated.

Good episode. I liked seeing the Winchester brothers interrogating the angel. It reminded me of happier times for them. Liked meeting Crowley's son and glad he's sticking around but I'm really going to miss Abadon. I thought she was a good villain.

Great episode.

I am really enjoying this season as a whole. There have been some missteps, but this show manages to stay must see tv for me.

Definitely.

When Sera Gamble was running the show for seasons 6 & 7, I lost interest in each season arc but still liked the standalone episodes of the show those years. Now since Jeremy Carver took over running the show last season and this year, I look forward to every season arc episode and am disappointed when a new episode ends up being a standalone episode (which are generally still good episodes, but just not as good as the season arc storyline).

Dean's effectiveness in getting rid of Abaddon via the Mark of Cain and the First Blade makes me wonder how anyone can stop him, even Metatron.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this season ends.

Great news. I always love the show, but he's like the 3rd brother and I like the show best when he is on it.

Anyone think their making Crowley too soft? He's supposed to be the King of Hell! How can he have soft spot for any living thing even his son?

Sam's trials from last season brought back his humanity but not completely. The incomplete last trial was to cure a demon.

The spin-off should have been Crowley and Castiel as a buddy duo.

I thought he was a regular this Season for some reason. Poor guy keeps getting demoted. But his new show on NBC, Constatine, should be a hit.

Since it looks a thread wasn't made for this week, I thought last night's episode had some great lines. Dean looks to be going off the deep end with his blade.

Yeah I really like what their doing with the arc of Dean and the first blade.

to agent's Spears and Aguillera. This show is always infinitely better when Cass is around.
