I would think your XBox One or XBox 360 would be a more reliable streamer of HD than your Roku. Don't have any of the others, although the new Amazon FireTV is very good with HD - it just doesn't have a lot of apps yet.

Doesn't the Xbox 360 only stream 720p?

I don't have a PS4, Xbone or WiiU. But out of the other devices, I prefer the Roku.

Re: Best device for Streaming HD content?

The PS4 is the best of that bunch, as I'm not really a fan of the pre-3 Rokus (though I absolutely love the Roku 3), and I don't like the fact you have to be a Gold member to stream on the Xbox 360 (also only 720p) or the Xbox One. Though if you're already a Gold member, there is argument that the Xbox One is superior, but it's close.

However, HBO Go on Comcast only works on Android, Apple, and Microsoft devices right now. No Roku or PS3/4. The interface is too slow on the Wii U to use as a serious media device.

Otherwise Netflix is the same on all the game consoles and the Roku 3 (though I think the Roku 2 still has that older interface). As are most other services.

I would get the Amazon Fire TV. Once you go Voice Search, you'll never go back.

It is upscaled to whatever resolution you have your 360 set to, but the actual content maxes at 720p.

Given the devices you have, and assuming you don't want to buy any other devices, I'd personally use the Roku 2 HD for streaming, especially if you're using it a lot.

Less power consumption for the win!
