Episode Synopsis: Kiera questions police behavior while working to help a college student caught up in a cop cover-up; Carlos learns that the influence of Liber8 can be felt even in the VPD; and Alec makes an unlikely ally.

Damm, AlecPrime is turning into a Mirror Universe Alec! I'm thinking Kira is going to come to that realization as well. Funny conversation between then though by addressing some sci-fi tropes.
Very interesting as things are starting to turn out very different than the end of season 2. I think pretty much everybody is turning out for the worse, except perhaps Dillon.
The more we see of Kira' s future experiences, I'm surprised how much she defends the systems and continues to call out Liverber8.
Carlos has it super bad. I think he told Kira he too care of the body, only to keep her on ice as a companion.

^Those were two great scenes--Alec vs. Alec, and Carlos with dead Kiera.
It did seem strange, though, that the two Alecs were so antagonistic with each other immediately.

Huh? Then we wouldn't have any Kira. Or do you mean the previous Kira that is now dead?
It's an interesting approach though. I think there was a Stargate SG-1 episode that effectively killed the original cast and he story continued with their replacements. Not much was made of it, but you've effectively killed off the characters everybody has come to know. Here they did that with Keria, except you still have the one you've known longer. Makes me think they will keep the original Alec and take care of the one from the current timeline.

that was a pretty boring episode outside of the alec vs. alec confrontation. "suck it, nerds!"

Alec vs Alec was great. The actor is still learning but he killed it in that scene.
