I liked that this episode was mostly Root free. Sad that Fusco was only mentioned and no Bear. Also disappointed they didn't off that guy.

finch deciding to not allow the killing of a corrupt politician of all people just may have sealed his own fate...smh

john & shaw are killers, the govt employed them to kill threats

finch had previously made a bad decision the ultimately ended with the loss of carter

hope this decision works out

_________

good episode nontheless

I still love this show, but dang it's gotten complicated the last couple episodes. Between the different agents, different factions, different machines with acronyms, government conspiracies, different locations, and the regular guy-to-save-of-the-week...sometimes I'm working just to keep up.

The only part that didn't make any sense is that IF the machine really wanted McCourt dead just send in Root and it would've been done already.

It was inevitable that Samaritan will be coming online in order to create the showdown of the "Two Gods"...

Great episode. I thought it was going to be a boring politics-related episode when it first started, but when it tied into Samaritan, it turned out great.

Yeah, I liked the show much better when it was just Harold finding someone in danger and John saving them.

Re: Person of Interest -- "Death Benefit" -- 4/15/14

there was an episode toward the end of last seasonn where this billionaire prick had someone poison this doctor

claudia from warehouse 13 was on there playing the daughter

well anyways long story short finch-reese were too late as the doctor had already ingested polonium and had 24 hrs to live due to radiation poisoning

finch found the water from the podium as the source and collected a sample of the water

reese and the dying guy visited the prick billionaire and they poisoned him back with his own shit

so actually i bring this up because finch-reese murdered that dude

but they couldnt murder the politician last episode

hmm
