Wow that was amazing and is probably one of the best episodes this show has done period. I'm going to miss Manu Bennett at the end of the season because he absolutely owns the role of Slade Wilson/Deathstroke.

Wow. I can't believe how long they have been dragging this Deathstroke story along.

Who says he's leaving?

It's cool yet longish at the same time. I figure it will last until the end of the season.

Re: Arrow -- "Deathstroke" -- 4/02/14

A couple of lines cracked me up in this episode.

Halloween isn't for another six months, ass-hat.

and Roy telling off Sarah...

Of course you would side with him, you are screwing him!

It was a little too predictable in Ollie losing control of the company, when he signed over temporary power. So who is Summer Glau supposed to be as a character? She's apparently another assassin/ninja/villain.

Her character was in the comics and had an affair with Robert Queen, but I highly doubt they're going that direction with the show.

Her name was in the list though, so there's that.

Not that surprised that Isabel was working with Slade. I figured that something would happen once Ollie made her temporary CEO.

at Laurel finally learning Ollie's secret.

Deathstroke totally reminds me of Jack Bauer's costume from the 8th season of 24.

What evidence did Pike have to arrest Officer Lance? Just for being uncooperative?

Loved tonight's episode but was surprised Merlyn didn't show up in Starling City to take on Slade. Slade did kidnap Merlyn's daughter afterall. As for Summer Glau, I didn't like that they lifted wholesale one of the plotlines of The Dark Knight Rises. Other than that, look forward to her ongoing presense as another villain on the show.

that's a whole lot of buckles/straps/latches etc..

but it looks pretty cool in a "that's the bad guy" sort of way.. I'm not sure I would hop out of a bus and confront him..

I think Laurel is gonna turn the Arrow in for her dad's arrest.

It's clearly illegal for Star City Police to catch criminals unless they're 60 year old ladies.

I thought he looked like a more colorful Jason Voorhees. When he is loaded up with that much gear on him, Deathstroke looks like he can barely move or bend over.

I think it's because Manu Bennett isn't all that tall, so he looks really stocky when all geared up as Deathstroke. You put someone who's about 6'4" in good athletic shape in that same type of suit, and he'd looked pretty bad-ass.

I like this Deathstroke look more than the island Deathstroke.

I keep thinking of Jason X when I see him.

According to Barrowman, he's back in Vancover and back on Arrow. I'm assuming for the final episode.

Waiting for my flight to Vancouver . Merlyn returns.

Bleeding Cool has some photos up that might show more on the Slade/Isabel stuff.

Obviously possibly spoilery

Yeah, I saw that on his FB. I figure he and Ollie will have to reluctantly team up against Slade. I'm just surprised he didn't make an official cameo (I don't count the archival footage flash) in this episode.

Did I miss something? What was the outcome of Ollie's visit to Waller? He already tracked down Slade and had his "rescue" attempt from the mansion go off the rails.

Also, it was alluded that the new CEO is related to somebody, but not who.

Spoiler:
Here's hoping they allow her to do her own action scenes. That they defaulted to a fight double for her brief skirmish with Ollie was irksome.

Definitely agree on Manu Bennett he owns this role. Of course I thought he was badass as Crixus in Spartacus as well.

And is it me or is Thea the most annoying part of this show (Laurel closely behind and mama Queen).

Re: Arrow -- "Deathstroke" -- 4/02/14

I can see Ollie vs Isabel a lose lose for him. Leave her alone, she controls his company. Fight her & kill her or driver her off for her being in league with Slade & authorities will find it suspicious that the new CEO of Queen Consolidated disappears right after kicking out the former CEO.

I don't mind Thea as much. She's honestly the one member of the family that I'm OK with having stick around. I would be perfectly happy though if Moira and Laurel were written out of the show though.
