Dallas - "Playing Chicken" - 3/10/14
The race to secure capital for the impending Arctic Lease auction has Bobby scrambling to outmaneuver John Ross' efforts to frack on Southfork. While Nicolas and Elena's partnership heats up, Christopher makes a startling discovery about Nicolas' past, and Emma's games put John Ross and Pamela's upcoming wedding in jeopardy.

That was fucking awesome.
at Emma fucking Pamela over with the lingerie deal and then Sue Ellen making Bum feel guilty about John Ross.John Ross is such a fucking sleaze bag. I said it last season that Josh Henderson is doing a great job carrying on the torch passed to him by Larry Hagman.
It wouldn't be Dallas without that least reveal that Trevino has a wife and 2 kids in Mexico. Can't wait until Elena finds out. I've been keeping track of the ratings and they are a little bit down slightly under 2M viewers. It's facing so much competition on Monday nights and is in the same timeslot as Bates Motel, The Following, The Voice among others. On the plus side, I saw it gained a lot of viewers via Live + 3 ratings. It just shows that there is simply not enough eyes on every show on Monday nights. I'm glad that TNT cares about the DVR ratings. I think the back 7's summer ratings will be the key if this gets a 4th season.

Henderson has really picked up the pace as John Ross now that JR's shadow has faded. Metcalfe, on the other hand, has done nothing but act as errand boy for 2 seasons. With Bobby still in the picture as a foil for John Ross, Christopher's role seems like it'll remain stagnant.

Well, Christopher has basically been written that way, so it's hard to fault the actor. Bobby probably would have been just as boring in the original had he not been married to a Barnes.
