WBO (2/28-3/2): Non-stops LEGO.
http://www.latimes.com/entertainment...,4758790.story
For the first time in its run, the chips look stacked against "The Lego Movie."
Liam Neeson's latest action film, "Non-Stop," surged to the top of the box office on its opening night Friday with $10 million in ticket sales, according to estimates. Just behind with an estimated $9.4 million was "Son of God," the biblical epic culled from the History Channel's hit 10-hour miniseries "The Bible."
With Neeson starring as a federal air marshal in a race against time to save an airliner, "Non-Stop" builds on the success the actor has had with thrillers "Taken" and "Taken 2." Also starring Julianne Moore and the Oscar-nominated Lupita Nyong’o of "12 Years a Slave," the film was expected to earn $20 million this weekend.
Projected to post similar numbers in its first weekend, "Son of God" has been buoyed by strong advance ticket sales as churches and other religious groups have helped build anticipation by purchasing passes in bulk and renting out theaters.
In third place, the hit comedy "The Lego Movie" earned an estimated $4.4 million. Though this marks the end of the film's long reign at the top of the box-office rankings, it could surpass the $200-million mark this weekend with another $20 million in sales.

Liam Neeson wins no matter what he's in No-Stop and The Lego Movie.
Also, your title is confusing it sounds like The Lego Movie can't be stopped.
I noticed I, Frankenstein, Hercules, and The Nut Job (speaking in which Neeson is ALSO in Nut Job) are at the cheap movies already, that was really quick. Biggest bombs of 2014 so far?

Worldwide Gross: $68M.
Budget: $65M.
The Legend of Hercules
Worldwide Gross: $40M.
Budget: $70M.
The Nut Job
Worldwide Gross: $65M (North America is responsible is responsible for $60M).
Budget: $42M.
The Nut Job did enough to warrant a sequel to be released January 2015, I, Frankenstein is a disappointment, and The Legend of Hercules is a bomb.
What's more nuts is that Son of God is a two-hour recut of The Bible miniseries that aired on The History Channel last year alongside has been on Blu-ray for nearly a year (and as low as $30) and still managed to pull in an opening weekend of almost $30M. However, my money is on a second weekend drop of at least a minimum of 60%.

I think Non Stop will earn about 60-70 million domestic and make about the same overseas.
It only has a reported $50M budget. So it will probably be regarded as a moderate hit.
