There is a clip from the premiere that was posted by NBC recently. It's pretty spoilery. I would avoid viewing it.

Awesome! There was no reason for season one to be as fantastic as it was...and I'm hoping this season continues that trend. Can't wait!

Watched Season 1 earlier this month, and was surprised at how good it was (being a network drama and all). Looking forward to the new season.

Great fuckin' premiere. That fight was on some high level shit right there. Hated the season preview at the end though.

What a great premier.
I was more entertained by the opening sequence than I am by entire seasons of most shows.

Wow, that was a fantastic premiere. Pretty much in line with season 1.
What a great opening tease for later in the season. That was an intense fight scene between Hannibal and Jack. Obviously it needs some kind of set up, but man I'm looking forward to seeing everything that leads up to it.
In the meantime, looks like we have a new killer on the loose with some wacked tactics.
Will recalling Hannibal did to him was also pretty crazy. Should be an intense season.

Hannibal did okay compared to most of last season when it was below 1.0. Got a 1.1 out of Grimm which got a 1.4. Expectations are much lower on Friday since pretty much nothing gets a 2.0 expect Shark Tank, so we'll see.

Here's the cold open again. One of the best choreographed fight scenes I've seen on TV.

I agree that Lionsgate should have put it on Netflix, which more people have. It helped Breaking Bad a lot in it's last season.

that was a good choreographed fight scene, but it can't hold a candle to some of the fight scenes from Banshee

Banshee is an action show. Hannibal? Not so much. It's amazing what we get here: Top notch story, visuals, music, and now fight scenes. When that fight hit the screen, was very surprised at how good and intense it was. Wasn't expecting that.

NBC should have been promoting the hell out of this during the Olympics. I had no clue it was premiering until the day before. Its one of the best dramas on television period and proof that the networks can still produce quality work if the right people are given a chance. Its a shame the ratings aren't better though. Great season opener.

I loved this episode as well. There's that great fight scene and I liked how they explored Hannibal and Will's character in more detail. I get the feeling that Hannibal liked the attention he got from being an FBI crime scene consultant.

It's streaming rights are exclusive to Amazon prime. Unfortunately I know a lot of people don't subscribe to Prime because it's $80 per year plus tax and it's primary purpose is shipping, not TV/Movie streaming.

Will the new episodes be hitting shortly after airing (like Under the Dome)? Or are they just doing full seasons when they are done?
