Girls -- "Incidentals" -- 2/23/14

During a GQ advertorial interview, Patti LuPone warns Hannah that Adam's new career path may cause unexpected problems. Meanwhile, Jessa's boredom at work is interrupted by a surprise visit from an old acquaintance. Later, Hannah is assigned to review the Gramercy Park Hotel, and the group celebrates good news with Adam's new friend Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), whom Marnie finds particularly captivating.

Written by Lena Dunham & Sarah Heyward; directed by Richard Shepard.

It was great to see Richard E Grant back. With this role, and recently being cast in Downton Abbey. He's having quite the comeback.

Yeah, I liked this now a lot. Funny, felt true to the characters.
[broken record]Adam Driver is amazing[/broken record] Dude is destined for stardom. I'm never not interested when he's on screen.

I don't get GQ. Do they have these big articles that are really sponsored by ads in the magazine? And are they really written by a writing staff rather than an ad agency?

I've watched a few episodes on free preview weekends and that cat is the ONLY thing I've found funny about the show.
