I'm already seeing people complaining on FB that it was a boring episode. I guess 6-7 zombie attacks wasnt enough.

Thought it was an interesting ep., if for nothing more than the dynamics of the separate groups they have going. I was actually hoping for a straight out Beth and Daryl one shot. The military guys from the comics showing up at the end was great, even though I would have loved it if they ended it with Tara looking at the camera yelling: "Enjoy the show, assholes?" Would have been series ending material IMO.

I thought it was a boring episode overall. Not much else to say other than Glenn was being a real retard by taking so long to put on that damn body armor (even stopping for a relaxing sob on the bed) and Maggie keeping up that white people in horror cliche of wanting to split up at any given opportunity. Well that and Tyreese still being Tyreese.

I was wrong, Judith is alive. I won't blame the writers or anyone, you win some...
And I thought it was a good episode.

Episode was just okay for me. I was glad they tackled what was going on with the other four groups in a single episode rather than spread it across two or three episodes, but it felt a little incomplete.
Not surprised that Judith was alive. Nice to see Beth back in the fold so soon. Lizzie is definitely a little psychopath. That scene with her about to suffocate Judith was pretty well done; the look on her face was definitely unnerving. I found the scene with Glen forcing his way through the zombies and then distracting them with fire to be laughable though. Wanted more of Daryl.

I didn't know Philip Seymour Hoffman was a Walking Dead fan. That's quite a get by AMC for Talking Dead.

Hey, Judith is alive. Just like I said she was. What a complete non-surprise.
Episode was just okay. I don't like any of the kids though. I wish writers wouldn't burden their characters with children in these doomsday shows/movies. Especially when they keep doing things like leaving them or losing track of them. Anything with the kids brings the show to a grinding halt. And of course Carol has a perfectly timed reappearance.
What was the deal with the shoe by the train tracks? There was a payoff with the dead rabbit and squashed berries but no one lost a shoe.
I've decided I really don't like the episodes where they walk through the woods. They are just kind of boring. But there were some decent kills and a good cliffhanger so it wasn't a waste.

Well I can confidently say this was my best hour of Walking Dead I have experienced. I was able to pay some bills, practice some piano and kill some zombies myself in the Grim Dawn early access alpha. I wasn't annoyed by a single thing in tonight's episode because I did not see a second of it and put that time to better use. And I don't miss the show in the slightest bit. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the season.

Great episode. Much better than last week's episode.
The writing was better (sorry Kirkland!) and is it just me, or was the directing/editing different than last week too?
I think Carl just bugs me. Maybe that's why I wasn't able to get into last week's episode.

Daryl and Beth is certainly an unusual pairing. I do think it was a strange device to have Beth narrating in the beginning only to have them disappear from the storyline at the quarter hour. I get that they wanted to show what happened to everyone, but it makes the front part of the show not match up with the rest.
I'm surprised they killed Lilly offscreen. You would think she would have earned an on-screen death, but I guess they figured her storyline was done when she killed Brian/Governor.
Thought it was a cop-out for Glenn to get off the redshirt bus and still be at the prison; he could barely move. I guess that was just a way to pair him up with Tara (Alanna Masterson is kind of an odd person).
Still, I liked the episode for the most part.
