It's Villeneuve, so I'll watch it.
Nice to see it set in Toronto instead of his usual Montreal (or US for Prisoners).
Between Villeneuve and Vallée - Quebec's finally getting some global recognition for the directing talent coming out of that province.

Watched this tonight, and...I'm really not sure what to think. As I was watching it I enjoyed it, but after it ended I just thought "what the fuck"
I still don't know if
I got a very "Mulholland Drive" vibe while watching.
Worth checking out.

I have it on my "to see" pile. It has gotten very good notices.

Saw it last night and loved it. Very Lynchian cryptic surreal feel loaded with symbolism that requires multiple viewings.

Yeah, I really need to see this. I've only seen one of Villeneuve's films (Incendies). I've seen it at my local redbox, but keep holding off on it.

I just saw this today and it rocked. It's very Cronenberg-esque - in fact it can be considered Naked Lunch's cousin. I loved it and it's going on my Top-10 of the year!

Hmm, Prisoners was one of my favorite films of last year and with the Lynchian/Mulholland Dr. comparisons, I will definitely put this at the top of my must see list.

I didn't care for Prisoners, but this was fantastic. I haven't had this much fun trying to decipher a film since Sauna. I also loved the oppressive atmosphere and the spider imagery, especially the one looming over Toronto. This and Under the Skin are my favorite films of the year so far.

The obvious : Do not watch until after you've seen the movie

Thought this was pretty great. It was like Eyes Wide Shut meets Eraserhead. And that above video helps with analysis for sure.

This is up there with Transformers 4 as the best of the year. Very Ratneresque.
