FYI- this is available on VOD - just got done with it and enjoyed it quite a bit. if you're a fan of jeff nichols' or david gordon green's more serious work then i think you'll like this.

Watched this last night. Really enjoyed it. The sense of dred through the whole movie is exhausting but not in a bad way.

It's a simple story but it doesn't get in the way of what its trying to accomplish. I love the palpable suspense I had watching this. I would have wished for a little more backstory. This director and its main star should be considered for one the episodes of the next season of True Detective.
Blink and you'll miss Jan Brady.

I watched it today and liked it, but couldn't help but be annoyed at some of the decisions made by Dwight. There were times when you thought "ok, he's not as dumb as he looks, he's smart and resourceful" and then other times when you thought "what the fuck are you doing?"
Still, overall it was a nice revenge thriller. Worth checking out.

Saw this today at the Alamo Drafthouse.
While I wouldn't say it has crazy tension, there are places where there is a bit of tension. It was interesting in places where you think something's going to happen but then nothing. Like when he got the

I totally forgot to look for Eve Plumb until I saw the credits. Maybe next time.

Just watched this today and absolutely loved it. I had no issues with the choices Dwight made because I think any real person would have acted similarly under those circumstances. It certainly lent the film some realism beyond most revenge dramas. I enjoyed going on his little journey. Dug all the stuff with his estranged buddy, too. I felt tension ran high because it Dwight could have been captured/killed at any moment. Great film that deserves more exposure. This will be in my top 10 easily.

The Blu-ray is very good as well:

The process it took to get this movie made is very interesting. They shot a four-minute faux trailer in Ocean City, Maryland to draw interest from producers. The director and Dwight happen to be lifelong best friends. Every producer wanted a different actor for Dwight.
