Son of Batman (DC Animated, 2014)
Son of Batman is the next DC animated movie following Justice League: War. It is based upon Grant Morrison's comic book storyarc called Batman & Son which introduced Damian Wayne, the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul.
Trailer:

So DC is shoehorning Deathstroke into this. He wasn't involved in the original story at all. I guess now that Arrow has made him so popular, DC wants to use him in everything.
The meeting of Bruce and Damian seems lame in this animated adaptation. The "Father, I imagined you taller" scene from the comics was much better than this behind the curtain reveal.
I also don't particularly care for Damian's voice acting. He doesn't seem to him nearly as much attitude in this adaptation compared to the comics.
Hopefully it still turns out good. It would be nice to see Grant Morrison's entire Batman run adapted to animation.

I'll pick this up but I wasn't a huge fan of the Morrison run. I thought the whole RIP storyline was kind of a mixed bag personally. The best stuff to come out of it was the stuff from the Batman & Robin title with Dick as Batman and Damian as Robin in my opinion.

Can't wait. I've always been a big fan of Damien.

I have the comic and enjoyed it more then I expected, since the idea of a kid showing up sounded terrible to me. I like Damien too.

I hope Deathstroke gets his ass kicked by Damian.

Fair enough. In my defense...between Damien, Tolia, Raz Ahl Gool, and Brooss Wain the Bat-Man universe has lotsa interesting names that are easily misspelled.

I don't know if I really dug the art style or the voices in this one. I'm a horror for these movies though. Even though I haven't watched one in years I still buy the BB exclusives with the figure.

Saw this tonight and it was LEGIT!!!!!!!!
They pushed the violence to the extreme sort of like Flashpoint Paradox did. I think this one still retained the PG-13 rating like the other one did. Barely.
