Ben might be my favorite character on this show.

at Ron bolting out of the office and destroying and burning his award. Also loved Ben's squib packs going off.

I've been down on the show this season, but this was a really good episode. Felt like a "new beginning" to me indeed. More of the same please.

Ben's ineptitude at lying to set up his prank may be the funniest thing I've seen on this show in a while.

Leslie: Great news guys, I just saved your bacon!
Ron: Impossible, you don't even know where it is. *looks up*

That was my least favourate moment. From the obviousness of the joke to the actor's over-the-top performance. Perfect example of how the longer a sit-com goes on, the more cartoonish and one-dimensional the characters become.

So Ron is a moron now? He's never heard the colloquialism "saved your bacon", so he takes her literally and assumes she is talking about his hidden bacon? Andy is funny as the stupid guy, but less funny when the supposed smart characters are as stupid as he is. I hope they fix slips like this, but something tells me there is only going to be a lot more. Blah.

Last weeks episode was better but I will take any Parks Rec episode as long as it is on the air.

Just wished Ann did not make that Greys Anatomy reference since I hate that show lol.

I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard at a sitcom joke. I had to pause it and then rewind it after catching my breath.

I think they slightly ruined the joke by having him check on it later, though.

I have to agree. I got a chuckle out of the scene, but no where near how I likely would have reacted had the scene been from an earlier episode. They would have staged it just a bit differently, I'm pretty sure.

^ Also, having Ron check on it later (in case the audience didn't catch the reference?) didn't help.

Yeah the Ron thing was a little too on the nose. As I've said before too, the Gerry jokes are beating a dead horse. When even someone like Chris openly insults him (as he has done before), it's downright cartoonish.

I liked the prank stuff. But for some reason I'm surprised that Leslie didn't know about Tom's business success. Just because she was on the council, that makes her magically a moron stuck in the past?

Still better than the vast majority of sitcoms of the past several years, so I too am happy (and a little surprised) it's renewed.

I'd be happy with a 13 episode final season... similar to the way 30 Rock went out. I don't want this show to get shitty and leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Geez, the show needs to end. It's been doing nothing but spinning its wheels this season. NBC really has nothing.

Loved that closing credit sequence. Plus he buried the ashes in Illinois.

I was behind all season, but finally got caught up via some Hulu Plus marathons.

at Chris and Ann constantly changing their minds about the ring and then then wanted the bracelet, but then owner threw them out & told them to take it.

Who would have thought this would become the best comedy on Thursday nights?

Glad we're likely getting another season.

Really? Leslie losing her dream job, Ben leaving Sweetums and becoming city manager, some character growth for Tom, Ann and Chris deciding to leave town and Leslie having to cope with losing her best friend.

That's wheel spinning?

But having Andy gone most of the season has sucked and April has felt kind of useless lately.
