Well, now we know that Amy without Sheldon or the other girls is a complete waste of time.
Stuart is pathetic to the point where I just want to fast forward through all of his bits.

Pretty boring episode. Leonard jumping to the conclusion that Penny asked for her job back was pretty dumb.

You could tell when they showed her from the back that her bra was working overtime. The upgrade was pushup and not surgical.
Ok..that sounded creepy even to me.

The central idea of actually shaking things up a bit is something for which I applaud this episode. Unfortunately, the execution leaves a lot be desired. Byalik is good, but the dynamic with Raj and Howard simply doesn't work as well as the one with the other girls), and it was nice to see her at work where she ISN'T socially awkward. Unfortunately, putting with the rest of the gang without the girls really doesn't yield many laughs. The rock guy character is kind of pointless unless they're goingto use it to shake up the Amy-Sheldon relationship, and I kind of hope they're not unless they FINALLY want to put the two of them into bed together, which is long overdue. Leonard is kind of being an ass in how he phrases things, but he has a valid point: what the hell is Penny going to do without a source of income?! Elsewhere, the "Sheldon needs to go on vacation" shtick is tiresome. He can't watch Star Trek or something? I was actually proud of Bernadette for standing up for Stuart, who's storylines are also getting very tiresome very fast, but of course she goes back at the end for the sake of a joke and completely negates the whole thing. I've actually hoped to find some conversation at some comic shops I've been too, but have had limited luck . When the highest-selling books in comics are 160,000, I suppose that clientele are bound to be limited. Most I've been too are fairly small and not exactly booming, though the one in an actual major city I've been to is an exception, obviously. Why would you want to drink a milkshake with your genitals? Seems kind of pointless. Only Sheldon cold make genitalia jokes standing next to Penny in a tight shirt and not make them sound sexual. Early-series Howard would've gone nuts with it. It's nice to see the show finally trying to shake things up a bit and go somewhere, it's just a shame that the writers seem to ill-equipped or unwilling to do it.

I liked that we got some different match-up of characters... Raj, Howard and Amy... Bernadette and Stuart (which was surprising). But as was already said, the execution didn't work out.
It seems like they're trying to force Stuart on us now. They're probably thinking that since Amy and Bernadette's inclusion worked, they'll throw Stuart into the mix. It would be fine if they didn't make him so pathetic - we already have Raj for that.
Was hoping they were going with a storyline with Amy being attracted to someone else, causing Sheldon some heartache in the future. But it looks like it's back to Sheldon treating Amy like shit.
Glad Penny quit her job and now her character is actually doing something about her acting career... finally.
