This show ending as a SERIES finale has clearly been a desire for some and an expectation for others ever since day one! OFFICIALLY, however, I don't think anything has been stated anywhere unless one has inside information. Other than that, very decent episode!

A big budget show like this on a big network like CBS will not get another season with barely over 4M viewers per week.
The only reason this show wasn't pulled was because it was sold as a "Limited Series" with no pressure to give it a full 22 episode season.

I'm not really sure how they could keep it going with such a limited premise. It's something that's going have to have some kind of definitive ending after its first season.
Maybe a second season would be the Carlisle and the Sanders families on the run from the conspiracy?
