Not as good as story as last week, but we do he to see a little more of the supporting players and are introduced to another model of synthetic (of which we'll probably see more of... that's a good Hollywood job to have... reusable actor).

Another solid episode. It's becoming my new favorite show to watch on TV!

I liked seeing Benito Martinez on TV again...to bad we won't be seeing him again on this show. The snail was a wee bit gross for my tastes though.

The weakest episode so far but it was still good. Liked seeing criminals using their own androids.

Was it the MX model's head that called Rudy a prick? Didn't I say they were all douchebags?

I thought this episode was pretty weak. The plot was extremely cliched and I find the tech guy genuinely creepy.

Actually thought it was pretty good. Damn, these cops are pretty brutal. Dorian snaps a guys neck and Kennex executes an unarmed man straight-out. There must be cameras everywhere by 2048, especially so for cops, so they must be monitored by someone...

I also liked the episode, thin as it was. Good jokes too.

Re: Almost Human -- "The Bends" -- 12/02/13

Loved Kennex eating the live snail.

The banter between Dorian and Kennex was probably the strongest part of this episode. It was a pretty by the numbers procedural plot, although I was pretty surprised that Martinez's character was the actual baddie.

I said it in the Pilot thread, but I am liking the fact that Kennex and Maldonado actually get along. The whole deal in most cop procedurals with the rogue cop who hates his boss or vice versa is pretty old, so it's cool to see them actually have some respect for each other.

I see the ratings aren't that great (Better than Fringe's though). It's tough for a new show to be the anchor for the evening. Plus, it's competing directly with Monday Night Football for East Coast viewers. I think Almost Human would have been better served with Sleepy Hollow as a lead-in.

I find it funny that Ass-invader just keep shooting his mouth off until Kennex bust a cap into his head...

I agree this episode was weak. It was the first episode that I didn't like.

I don't know, I like Lili Taylor in the role so far - not that the character has been given that much to do so far.

I liked the episode but thought the droid vs. droid fight could have been staged differently ... perhaps they go for known droid weak spots - eyes, ears, off-switches etc.
