Loved the gum scene. I really like this show. Nice balance of humor and action.
And holy shit to showing the hostage bouncing on the ground. Didn't expect them to show that.

Great episode. Reminded me of Die Hard a bit. The "boring conversation anyway" line reminded me of Han Solo in Star Wars. The gum was gross, but the inventions and effects were cool. I too was surprised when the hostage bounced off the ground.

The scene from last week's preview never happen in this episode.
I thought he was going say he made the ice hole story up.
John dropping his mask just before shooting was odd. Why not just kill them with it on.
Hot cop lady was really turning on the cuteness, maybe to much.

Well it's nice to know that DVR numbers are counted. I just dont have enough in the house to keep up with everything that everyone watches and records.
I really liked this episode. The chemistry between Kennex and Dorian is great.
I would be perfectly happy without a cute love story between Kennex and Stahl
Just knowing she is moist every episode is fine.

The thing I'm enjoying the most from this series are the cool tech ideas (though I'm not sure if they've been thought of before, or fresh ideas from this show)
For example:
DNA "bomb"
The "Start" and "10 Minutes" communication tools

Pretty good start. Hopefully they add in a long story arc at some point. The crime-of-the-week thing could get old after while.

Liked the follow through from the earlier episode with the Olive Oil.

I tuned in on JJ Abrhams name alone and have been pleasantly surprised. That last fire fight was pretty intense.

All the MX androids are douchebags, there must be other active DRN androids in this universe, hopefully we'll meet some.

This episode had a Die Hard feel to it but that's not a bad thing. I did have Bennie and the Jets stuck in my head for the rest of the night though.

I think we will meet more DRNs since it was mentioned in the pilot about them being sent places to do manual labor and maybe Maldonado will ask for another DRN to join the force.

the MXs definitely seem like a step back even though they're later models. guess the people prefer cannon fodder droids over ones that develop personality and therefore run the risk of the same kind of idiosyncrasies humans get

Agree with everyone. Great episode. Yeah, Die Hard and everything. I actually think this could have been a really good full length movie. There's a really thin main story so far, but I'm fine with that, they can grow the mythology later.

Solid episode. The heist plot was cool, but the main thing I love is the chemistry between Urban and Ealy.
at how Dorian doesn't take any shit from Kennex. The gum repairs scene was pretty funny.
Really badass scene when Dorian jumped out of the shaft and used his machine gun to take out most of the terrorists.
Kennex: Okay, let's go out for noodles.
Dorian: You realize that I don't eat?
Kennex: Good, cuz I'm not buying.
Liked Dorian at the end singing Benny and the Jets. Fun futuristic crime procedural. If you still haven't watched this yet, I don't think you should write this off because it's a procedural.

I noticed that a few of the Producers of Almost Human used to work on CSI, so that's probably how they developed the procedural end of the show.
