Luthor Mahoney and now a little Meldrick Lewis! Excellent.
Have to admit, pretty pleased with the lack of Brody this season. Maybe the writers are willing to sacrifice for the sake of the story after all.

Liked seeing Clark Johnson as the cop. I recall he directed an episode this season.
So is Dar Dahl really ok with being out of the loop? I got the impression he was, because he is old school, and was impressed with what Saul did with the operation.

Episode was 100x better without Brody and his family. Just write them off already. So much pointless angst. Quinn looked relieved to be confessing for all the other crimes he did and was ready to walk away. It must burn him inside to help Carrie try and exonerate her boyfriend.

So now we have Carrie in full "whodunit" mode to figure out who gave Abu Nazir's guy the keys to Brody's car. Based on what we've seen in this season so far, the most likely scenario is that it's not a terrorist sympathizer...rather it's somebody who wanted to see the CIA burn so it could be rebuilt how they wanted it to be.
Which makes Dar Adal and Senator Lockhart the prime suspects in my mind. Probably the former.

Didn't this show feature high quality nudity in almost every episode back in the first season? What the heck happened? New showrunner?

Most of the nudity was supplied by Morena Baccarin, who most people want off the show.
Maybe they can get some skin out of Saul's wife; the actress was frequently naked in Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love.

I find it bizarre they still "went there" with regards to Dana and the rest of the family, and then the one-off episode of Brody himself in Venezuela. I think the season wouldn't have suffered as much as it did in the first few episodes if they just stuck to the main plot at hand now.
They tried making us care about Dana then last week they just write her out of the show? It's like they knew that whole angle to this season was a colossal waste of time but not until it was too late and everything was already shot.
This past episode was best of the season so far. They seemed to have finally found a groove. I hope next week's is just as good.

I'm the only one here who likes the Dana storyline, I think. But I think the main purpose of it was to create some suspense in Carrie's story when she had to make the "Yoga Play" in order to engage the FBI guy.
Furthermore, I'm certain that this isn't the last we've seen of the Brodys.
