NBC passes on Sarah Silverman pilot then it becomes an online hit
I think it would've fit in nicely between Parks and Recreation and Community. Welcome to The Family is pretty dumb and I couldn't get through Sean Saves The World. Silverman says Netflix now has interest in the show.

Last year NBC passed on Silverman’s Susan 313, a sitcom about a woman moving back into her apartment, because they expected big things from Welcome to the Family, I guess? I’ve stopped trying to make sense of NBC’s decisions, because I don’t know how you say no to a show with not only Silverman and Harris Wittels, pictured above, but also Tig Notaro, Harris Wittels, June Diane Raphael, and Jeff Goldblum.

Saw her naked in "Take this Waltz".... not impressed.
But I'll check out the show anyway.

I just started streaming with Netflix 3 months ago and was planning to cancel based on their terrible selection of movies.
But with Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, being able to see the UK's The Fall, catching up on the series Continuum and now hearing they might pick up the Killing for a 4th season, I really hope they go aggressively after shows like this too and I'd be a very happy camper.
If only Party Down had been a Neflix original show.

Meh, I've never found her to be that funny. It always seems like she tries too hard to me.

NBC could have had something I'd care about if they picked up this and the recently taken by Fox John Mullaney vehicle.

Do you think there might be certain obvious reason this is getting so many hits.

Tig Notaro and June Raphael are freaking awesome as hell and I would probabably be interested even if they were in a shitty cbs crime drama or Usa show about lightearted 80s style buddy cop/spies etc but WTF that pilot was all over the place. Passing on this show is one of the few things NBC scripted dept has done right in the last few years.
