Target: Pacific Rim Limited Edition??

Can anybody confirm either a price or image error of the "Pacific Rim 3D" listed on Target.com or are they really offering the "Limited Edition" for close to $15 less than anybody else?? I called the ".COM" customer service and they were confused by my question and placed me on hold and came back stating it was the "Limited Edition", but too many times there have been image/price/edition errors on their web site.

Re: Target: Pacific Rim Limited Edition??

It's only $10 less than Amazon, where it is $44.96

Looks pretty cool:

What does the LE have that the regular 3D release does not?
There should be a fourth disc of features (that most outlets don't list) and it comes with a "Robot" figure.. I collect "Robot" figures (and alien figures [little grey and green men mainly]).

The non-limited edition packaging should look like this:

It looks like they used the wrong pic. Walmart did the same, and Amazon matched it for a couple hours for $29.96 (that's when I placed my order) before they realized it was a mistake as well before moving it back at the correct price. If you do want that version, it looks like WBshop is the cheapest place right now with the $5 coupon & free shipping, should be around $35 or so.

Also, does anyone think the LE will be in stores at all? I'm interested but the images online haven't sold me on it yet. I would like to see it first before deciding on getting it or not.

I sure hope that it is not wrong, as I already have ordered, and I also emailed CSR and advised if I do not get what was displayed, I will expect refunds.

Yeah, I'm betting it's the wrong version. The fact that they don't have a separate 3D version listing all but confirms that. But either way, good luck and let us know how it turns out. Best case it's the right version. Worst case it's the wrong version and you can return it in store.

Doubtful, considering the room it would take up on most stores' shelves. Target is even pulling back from carrying the 3D version of some movies in stores.

You got me excited for a second. I've had mine on order from Amazon for a while, but I didn't realize there was a LE. Mine is just the regular 3D. I got it for $23.49 from my Gold Box, but now I'm thinking I need the LE. I don't necessarily need the figure, but if there is an extra disc of features, I must have it.

The regular 3D edition also comes with 4 discs. The review page confirms that. Blu ray, Blu ray 3D, DVD, and special features. The only thing different between these two is the figure packaging.

That's good. Then I'll keep my Amazon order, unless an unannounced store exclusive suddenly pops up...

What's the quality of this robot, anyway. Kinda doubt it's worth the extra $10.

Re: Target: Pacific Rim Limited Edition??

From the pics I have seen, it is definitely not worth it. Plus the discs are stored behind the figure, all stacked on one hub.

Reminds me of the Transformers Dark of The Moon figurine that was released in the UK.
