Nice...I've always wanted to really check this show out but the fact that the dvds stopped so long ago made me hesitant to do so.

I still have my FOX season 1-4 sets. Picked them up for around $14.99 each about 2 years ago.
At this point, I don't care about extras, just want the show. With 7 more seasons to release after #5, I hope they can pull off 2 releases per year. 3 would be wishful thinking.

I really want to re-watch the season that Jimmy Smits left the show and they made Simone have the heart ailment. That was some really compelling TV. That whole arc was really well done.

NYPD Blue season 9 is coming out April 5th
It will have been 15 months since Shout released season 8. They're coming out at a pretty lethargic pace. I have to assume that sales for these Shout releases haven't been great.
There's 3 more to go. I hope it isn't another 15 months before we get season 10.
