What shows from previous years are you dumping in 2013?
What shows that you watched last year, are you no longer getting a season pass/you've dumped completely.
What shows are surviving the axe to be added to the new crop this year?
For me after struggling along watching Glee the last 2 years, wife finally agrees to stop watching the show.
So Glee gets the Axe this year.
Shows that will live to see another day are New Girl, Grimm, Once Upon a Time, Walking Dead, Raising Hope.

There are no upcoming seasons that I'm dumping, but I did bail on Mad Men about two episodes into this last season. I might go back to it once it's on Netflix, but I don't know.

There are shows that I keep recording but that I haven't watched regularly in a long time; Glee falls into that, as does HIMYM.

1). Suits used to be one of my favorite shows but I have a pile of them saved on my DVR which I am planning to delete.
2). White collar - is the same deal.
I plan to pretty much watch all the shows I watched last year except for Survivor and perhaps probably American Idol.

I'm done with Survivor until they go back to new contestants. Sick of the All-Star concept.
Will not go back to American Idol. Even with J-Lo, Urban and Connick Jr., the concept is tired and I just don't care anymore.
Liked The Voice and will continue to watch. Love the chemistry with Blake and Adam and the show differentiates itself enough to make it watchable.
This will be the last season I watch The X-Factor regardless of whether it comes back for a 4th year. Watching 1 singing competition is enough for me after this year.
As for dramas and comedies, I don't plan to drop anything right now.
However, there are a few I haven't watched regularly in a long time:
I only watched the first 2 seasons of Glee and have yet to finish 3 and 4. I'm a few seasons behind on The Mentalist, but I would like to continue watching it since season 6 is most likely the final season and they will wrap the Red John Mystery.
I don't like to drop stuff that I have years of investment in whether or not the show had a down season. I'm 9 seasons into Bones and will watch until the end. Same goes with CSI going into season 14. I only missed one season of CSI and that was Fishburne's final season (11). Ted Danson saved the show for me when he joined the cast.

Sticking with everything for the most part. I may not bother with Elementary. It's good but a bit too procedural even with the Moriarty stuff, I recall becoming bored with a handful of episodes. We'll see. I'll give it a couple of episodes.

If Castle gets any dumber I am going to have to drop it. I enjoy the fun episodes but they are just a hair away from Castle and Becket stopping an alien invasion.
The Mentalist is also close to being dumped. Other than that I haven't dropped anything.

Yeah, I'm not understanding how you can "dump" shows that aren't even being broadcast anymore.
I don't think there's anything this season I'm giving up, although there isn't much network TV I watch nowadays. There seem to be more new shows I'm interested in this season than in years past, though.

This upcoming season of The Mentalist is most likely the final season. The Producers said the Red John arc, which is pretty much the central point of the show, will be resolved.

I cleaned house last year (Glee, White Collar, Bones, Sons of Anarchy, and a couple others I'm probably forgetting). The only one on the bubble now is Castle.

I still have the second half of last season to watch, but I've been tired of the Red John storyline for a while. It's the reverse of the Superman problem, they made the villain too powerful to be interesting.

None actually, I watch so few shows it's kind of tough to dump any of them.

Oddly, as much as I like Community, I find I don't really re-watch a majority of it. I watch re-runs of American Dad far more frequently.

I gave up on The Following before the end of the last season. Same with Revenge.
I'm on the fence about Once Upon A Time.

Definitely giving up on
The Following
Potentially:
Survivor (If Colton gets sent packing early I might watch it)
White Collar
Sons of Anarchy (been watching that more out of inertia and to see how many times Jax says "Jesus Christ". Eh who am I kidding I'm going to watch this shit and just complain about it!)
Thinking about bailing on the last few episode of Breaking Bad.

As much as I enjoyed Bates Motel, the "fake out" last scene made me roll my eyes at how contrived it was. I'm not interested in going back as I'm pretty sure things are only going to get sillier and more outlandish.

Game of Thrones.
Kidding...at least until GRRM kicks the bucket with the saga unfinished.
Considering dropping Person of Interest, Nurse Jackie, Elementary. There's a bunch of shows (Royal Pains, Covert Affairs, Major Crimes, Glades, etc.) that I only watch On Demand when at the computer and nothing's on. Actually don't have much 'must watch' tv right now. I'd drop True Blood if the next season wasn't finishing off the series.

Although I've already dropped Glee, I want to see if Cory Monteith's death will have any aftermath.
