SHAG The Movie Selling for $40?
I recently picked up a copy of SHAG for $2 at a pawnshop just on a lark, slightly regretting it on the way out the door.
I take a look on eBay when I get home and see copies have sold between $30-$50. Not just one or two but several had sold at these prices.
I realize it's out of print and rare but it's also a pretty forgettable title. I can understand a movie with a certain cult status or an obscure horror/sc-fi film may command this kind of money but ... SHAG-The Movie?
It's a low-key 1989 coming-of-age flick about four girls in 1963 with Bridget Fonda and Phoebe Cates.
Oh, if you have the 5th season of the TV show Charles in Charge on DVD, it's worth $600. Yes, the crappy 80s sitcom with Scott Baio.
Even in this economy, it never ceases to amaze...

Try to find Animalolympics! Last I looked it was going for $200 up on the Big River, now its nowhere to be seen. I couldn't find it on Ebay either!
(I got my copy at a Garage Sale for the wallet-busting price of $.50).

There are a lot of odd titles that fetch a high price. Tony N' Tina's Wedding starts at $149.99 on Amazon. And the only copy I can find that is at least like new on eBay goes for $299.99. I wonder how many people even knew such a thing existed.
In all honesty, seeing those prices makes me seriously contemplate selling my copy.
