I kept trying to pick it up at WM instead of having it delivered to my PO Box (which is literally across the street), but I couldn't get it to give me that pick up in store option, so it cost me an extra $1.97 in shipping (I know, I know).

I wonder if they might cancel these orders, anyone know their policy on such things?

Actually if you want to guarantee that it won't get canceled, go to Amazon's webpage and submit for the lower price at Walmart. If Amazon drops the price, they definitely won't cancel preorders.

To those curious about the show...the first three, and last two seasons were great (going off memory here). There are a couple in the middle that were mediocre. Certainly worth $34.

It was the Iron Man 2 situation I remember... They canceled claiming out of stock on a pre order.... Then back tracking... It was a PR nightmare for them & they ended up giving out gift cards for the difference..

I'm guessing Iron Man 2 was a much more high profile title compared to Weeds. This thread started up yesterday and the $33.99 price is still available. I vaguely remember the Iron Man 2 fiasco. I wonder how long the error price was before they changed it.

first could have been in reference to before this site, not first reported. ie, i got it first (between me and someone else), but wasn't the first person to get it out of the entire world.

i'll honestly not give a damn if i get a cancellation. i gave up on the show after dealing with 3 consecutive horrible seasons, so i don't see how it could possibly redeem itself.
