Toshiba SD2109 Replacement

I am wondering wich of the newer Toshiba units is the replacemnet for the 2109.

i believe the SD-1200 is the direct replacement...it looks exactly the same.

I think the newer SD-1600 models are replacing the SD-1200s...

yeah, the SD1200 replaces 2109... Pretty sure 1600 replaces 1200

Toshiba just came out with a new unit, I think it's the 2300????? I'm not sure exactly of the model so don't quote me. Check out their website. One way to tell is that the new one has Nuon, which even though I don't know a whole lot about Nuon, it seems pretty cool. It's on their site, I've seen it. Take care. Peace SteveF

IMHO, Nuon is just a gimmick for the J6Ps out there. It doesnt improve the audio/sound of the DVD. Only good for true HT enthusiasts is that it COULD create a seamless layer change, because of the extra RAM in them.
