If I connect my PS2 to my 53" projection TV will it cause any harm to the TV?

As long as you have brightness and contrast down (via VE or AVIA), and you don't play games with too many still images for too long, then it's ok.

For DVD, its okay... for games, probably not.

Even with an action-packed game that always moves, the health bars, and all the other 'Heads Up Display' bars stay at the same place, and COULD risk screen-burn.
