$40 for S3 is half off? That's insulting.

Be careful with these guys. This is the place I ordered from and my brand new blu ray arrived with a slash through the barcode that actually went through the case.

For what it's worth I've ordered from Family Video multiple times and was satisfied with my order.

Family Video is a legitimate company. They've been posting their deals and handling PR issues here for a few years under this account. Whether or not this breaks any forum rules, I'm not sure.

Good lord, those are shit prices. I'll wait for the inevitable price drop from Best Buy and/or Amazon. I don't see any savings here.

Nice price on the "WD" Season 2 Blu-ray!
$21.98 shipped beats Amazon's price by close to ten bucks.

I'm holding out for a free shipping code(FV usually has one active). I have a feeling that Season 2 will be at this price at other retailers during the release week for Season 3.

I'm sure those actually paying for advertising here might be a little annoyed.

I bought the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre Blu-ray from Family Video when it was first released. I remember making a similar comment, but what the hell, it was the cheapest price around so I took it.

Re: Save on Walking Dead Season 3!

Family Video always has very good pre-order prices on anime releases, often beating Amazon. Free shipping codes pop up on occasion.

Yeah, but only the most uninformed buyer - literally - would pay that.

Wow. A $150 MSRP on the Limited Edition set? I liked the look of it, but nowhere near that much (or even DVD Planets $89.96).

It will be $59.99 at Amazon before it is over. At least that would be my prediction based on past "Limited Editions".

I've seen the FV posts before and didn't give them any thought, but I'm curious as to what the standard is. I was banned for a couple of weeks and my signature erased and when I asked what the deal was, I was told that I was advertising "a competing site" in my sig against the rules. That site? My personal film viewing diary/review blog. I'm as much competition for a major site like this as a kid's lemonade stand is to Anheuser-Busch, but it had to go, not that anything said something first; they just temp banned and erased.

I was looking at your collection and I noticed that you bought Shaun of the Dead / Hot fuzz combo pack and then shortly thereafter bought the separate releases. Why? Is something missing from the double-pack or is that just the DVD Profiler child profiles.

FWIW, I think FV used to be a sponsor and I guess figured it wasn't worth it. They sometimes have pretty good deals, esp.around BF.

Re: Save on Walking Dead Season 3!

I used to order previously viewed DVDs from them all the time. I stopped because most of the discs are so rebuffed the skip throughout. They also sent me artwork for stuff printed off a computer printer.

While adding two-packs, stupid DVD Profiler doesn't have a BD entry Moulin Rouge!/Romeo+Juliet (just the DVD) and when I added Shaun/Fuzz and it didn't have child profiles so it showed as one title, so I must've added them separately and forgot to take out the double.
