History channel gets a whole lot crazier - Shelby Stanga got his own show
Yep, the women's underwear-wearing, craziest Louisiana-native this side of Britney Spears got his own series. They announced it last night during IRT. No details but I'm sure it will be full of his usual unintelligible chattering, injuring camera and crew and stuff going boom. So long as his neice is featured regularly it might be worth watching.

I must admit, he is my favorite part of Ax Men and probably the only reason I still watch. Not sure about him getting his own show though. Oh and I agree about his niece.

Geez, they may as well change "The "History" Channel" to "The Redneck Channel"; all I ever see on that station are redneck shows. I swear they run nothing but Pawn Stars and American Pickers on the weekends.

Watched "All you can Eat" on H2 yesterday, yeah that won't last but a couple weeks. I love it when they have something that actually deals with history, not so much with this crap.

I watch a lot of shows on H1 and H2, and that may be the worst of the bunch. The show may have been tolerable if they just showed the clips, instead of having the really lame jokes inserted in every 10-15 seconds along side the laugh track.
It was like they were trying to do The Soup with material that really doesn't need that kind of snark.
Although now that I'm thinking about it, they had a show on a few months back called I Love The 1880s, which was their version of I love the 80s or Best Week Ever, only they had J and K List comedians, and they were making fun of historical events.
I think that was the worst show I've ever seen on these channels, and it was on H1!

Bumping this old thread because he's back. Time for some Louisiana crazy starting October 11.

Well it was the usual nuttiness, but he said something that shocked me. He's 62. I figured he was in his 40s.
