THE OTHER WOMAN (2014) (D: Nick Cassavetes) (Leslie Mann, Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton)

I figured I would start a thread for this movie since I didn't see one and there are some interesting on-set pics available.

I now have two very good reasons to see this movie.

Plot synopsis:

"After realizing she is not her boyfriend's primary lover, a woman teams up with his wife and plots mutual revenge."

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...-film-set.html

Kate Upton showed off her bouncy chest on the set of The Other Woman in West Hampton, Long Island on Thursday.

The model – who turns 21 years old next Monday – could be seen leaping into the air as she shimmied away with actress Leslie Mann.

I did. It was decent but Leslie Mann's character is so horribly written that I wanted the other two to punch her in the throat whenever she'd start whining. It does get better since her character suddenly switches gears but watching Cameron Diaz trying to politely tell her to fuck off and Leslie Mann never getting the hint gets really grating.

Oh and you knew how it was gonna end with regards one of the plot threads when you saw that Don Johnson is in the movie
Spoiler:
and has a way with younger women.

They get plenty of screen time. But if you expect to see them unleashed, you have the Fappening for that.

I can't believe I saw this too. Boy, it was bad. I can usually tolerate and find some enjoyment in the chick flicks I get dragged to,b ut this one was particularly bad.

By the way, what was up with absolutely nothing happening with the sex change hormones and Nair beyond two scenes? And what was up with the random bit with crashing into the glass wall? The movie got really weird towards the end.

Except for She's So Lovely (which I liked), I haven't seen any of Nick's other films. They just look bad

I like that one too, but I'm a pretty big fan of Penn.

I saw it in theaters last year. I was actually interested in the concept of the women teaming up, but it mostly sucked. Also it had one super predictable moment with Upton's character.
