"In The Flesh" - 3 Night Zombie Event - BBC America - 6/6/13 - 6/8/13

Zombie teenager Kieren Walker isn’t comfortable in his ‘undead’ state. He didn’t want to come back – he wanted to be dead. After his suicide four years ago, his friends and family thought they’d never see him again
But then, shortly after his funeral, thousands rose from the dead; and after months of rehabilitation and medication, the zombies, now known as PDS (Partially Deceased Syndrome) sufferers, are gradually being returned to their homes.
When Kieren returns, he is forced to confront his family, the community that rejected him and haunting flashbacks of what he did in his untreated state. Johnny Campbell directs, Ann Harrison-Baxter produces and Hilary Martin is the executive producer of the three-part series.
“In the Flesh” will premiere June 6-8 at 10pm/9c.

Watched this already. It was okay. Don't expect any action or comedy. Its entirely family drama. And some plot points make it look like a larger story will happen, but they end up going nowhere. My guess is it was originally meant to be a longer series. I did hear they're doing a second season though.

Liking this so far (seen 2 out of 3 episodes). Was surprised I liked it as BBCA was billing it as comedy/camp IMHO - and that its not. Basic BBC drama with family issues, lovers in hiding, that kind of thing...just set post zombie-contagion.

Episode 2 & 3 are on BBC America on Demand. It's slow but i'm going to stick with it and see how it turns out.
