Re: Game of Thrones -- "The Rains of Castamere" -- 6/02/13

After reading the synopsis, it seems to me this is going to be another filler episode with nothing really happening. I'll skip it and just catch the finale next week.

Anticipating what will happen here and have GoT's twitter page bookmarked for later. I truly hope non-readers know that D&D have no real control over the major events and Martin still seems to get final say.

I'm four episodes behind watching the TV show. Watching it with friends via my HBO Go. We usually build up 2-3 episodes and then watch all in one night. I'm getting close to finishing book 5 so I haven't had any of the show really spoiled for me, other then seeing how the do certain things. I'm watching the episode live tonight because I've been waiting for it.

Anyone know when new episodes are posted on HBO Go? I am traveling and don't have HBO access.

Crazy. I had already spoiled it for myself before the season started but it was still shocking to see. Wow.

I thought I was going to have a panic attack waiting for that to happen. My wife is freaking out, sobbing uncontrollably.

GREAT EPISODE.
Stupid Robb! He should have married a Frey.
Poor Cat.
Well, there goes the theory that Robb's wife escaped with his child.

Re: Game of Thrones -- "The Rains of Castamere" -- 6/02/13

Once the band started playing "Rains of Castamere" I knew it was about to go down. So much for Talisa being the spy.... They did the right thing by not having anything play over the credits.

Anyone else notice how they kind of did the opposite of Blackwater? That one had action all in Kings Landing, whereas this one never went to Kings Landing.

Re: Game of Thrones -- "The Rains of Castamere" -- 6/02/13

Well that was unexpected

Spoiler:
Killing Rob's wife I mean. Though I guess that kinda answers the question in the books weather she is/was carrying Rob's child

I figured the rest would play out as it did.

Re: Game of Thrones -- "The Rains of Castamere" -- 6/02/13

I was alittle confused with what happened with Dany and the taking of the city. So all those soldiers that surrounded Jorah, the unsullied leader, and long haired dude (what's his name?) threw down their swords because they were slaves? The soldiers that they killed beforehand weren't slaves?
