Trailer:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/OXcAL93SVBs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

NBC has announced that its upcoming summer drama series “Crossing Lines” will launch Sunday, June 23 with a special two-hour premiere (9-11 p.m. ET).

“Crossing Lines,” from creator Edward Bernero, taps into the charter of the International Criminal Court to investigate serialized cross-border crimes and to hunt down global criminals. The series stars William Fichtner, Donald Sutherland, Marc Lavoine, Gabriella Pession, Tom Wlaschiha, Moon Dailly and Richard Flood.

The series is produced by Tandem Communications, Bernero Productions, in co-production with TF1 Production/TF1 Network and commissioned by Sony Pictures Television Networks. Bernero, Rola Bauer, Jonas Bauer and Tim Halkin serve as executive producers.

“Crossing Lines” will normally air in its 10 p.m. Sunday timeslot beginning June 30. NBC has ordered 10 episodes.

Trailer was recently released. Looks interesting. I like that it has a very international look to it.

Re: Crossing Lines (William Fichtner, Donald Sutherland) -- New Action series (NBC)

More detailed synopsis:

With the formation of the European Union, borders were opened for easy trade and travel. However, this came with an unexpected consequence: an explosion of international crime. With such free reign, criminals were able to run to any country and hide in any city. Now, in a world where the most dangerous can cross so many boundaries, one elite task force - each member handpicked for their special skills - must draw the line.

Carl Hickman was once one of the NYPD's finest detectives, due to his uncanny ability to dissect a crime scene. But after being wounded in action, he felt betrayed by those closest to him. Angry and humiliated, he exiled himself to a life of anonymity... until today. Captain Louis Daniel, one of Carl's old colleagues, has assembled a squad of five young, eager cops from across Europe - and they need Carl's help. Now, Carl and his team must traverse the world's most exotic locations, taking down the most vicious and elusive criminals. But in order to survive the dangers that await them, they'll need to learn to work as one.

From executive producer/writer Edward Allen Bernero ("Criminal Minds," "Third Watch") comes a thrilling new drama starring William Fichtner ("Prison Break," "Black Hawk Down") and Donald Sutherland ("The Hunger Games," "The Pillars of the Earth"). One-hour drama.

Re: Crossing Lines -- 2 Hour Premiere -- "Pilot" -- 6/23/13

I watched all 2 hours tonight and I liked it.

I liked that they actually shot this overseas in Paris. The international setting definitely helps this from being your standard case of the week procedural. Fitchtner seems to be a decent lead. Obviously Hickman is a very flawed character with a lot of issues. So he's basically on a stakeout mission in Amsterdam to find the man he was after when he was a cop and who fucked up his hand. The French guy seems like a cool leader, but I wish they would have explained a little more of how he knew Hickman.

Did not expect the blonde British cop to bite it in the 2nd hour. For those who watched the Showtime series "Episodes" she played the blind wife of the studio executive that Matt was sleeping with. I liked her and she had good chemistry with the team.

Well, at least we have the hot red headed Italian cop and the French cop for our female eye candy.

Sundays are pretty damn busy this summer. But, I liked what I saw, so I'll be back next week.

Yep, liked it more then I thought I would. Should be fun to watch.

But yeah I was sad when the cop died as well. But she played the wife on Episodes? Wow!

I found it kinda boring to be honest. Only characters I found interesting were Hickman who kinda reminded me of Dr. House and the Lyon police officer with the great memory.

I expected the villan to be a lot more interesting based on the crimes but he seemed like a lightweight. I recognized the actor who played Louis from the Nick Nolte film "The Good Thief."

I agree. I didn't like who they cast as the killer. "Lightweight" is a good word. I would have rather seen someone a little more menacing or better yet someone more important from the American consulate. That guy was pretty much a nobody. If they made say the American ambassador the killer, now that would have been really compelling.

Re: Crossing Lines -- "The Terminator" -- 6/30/13

Watch this last night. It was okay for a mostly self contained plot, but yes things did feel off. Felt like an episode of Criminal Minds.

At least we learned 2 things:

1) Hickman is still looking for the guy who fucked up his hand with Anne-Marie's help.
2) "The Russian" may be the person behind the death of Louis' son.

Her voice if kind of annoying/scratchy, but Eva did look good in that tight black and white dress.

Re: Crossing Lines -- "Long-Haul Predators" -- 7/07/13

I was kind of disappointed with this episode. It was okay and very watchable, but I think the end result felt so rushed and anti-climatic.

The episode had a pretty sinister premise with the evil truck drivers kidnapping unsuspecting motorists and forcing them to kill each other. But, once the episode hit the 47-50 minute mark and then they decided to put Tommy and Eva undercover, I knew the ending would be really rushed.

The teen who got kidnapped in this episode was kind of a schmuck.

But, I did like how the episode tied into the overall plot about the Russian.

I can't believe it took me until the previous week's episode to realize that the techie was the guy that played Jaqen H'ghar on Game of Thrones.

The show needs more Moon Dailly.

It's not bad. It's an international action show. I like most of the actors including Fichtner, who is the only American on the show. The scenics in Europe are good and makes the show a little different than your normal cop show.

Re: Crossing Lines -- "Special Ops Part 2" -- 7/21/13

Pretty entertaining episode

Liked Part 2 better than Part 1. The kid was still a dork, but he kind of redeemed himself here.

Crazy sequence when Eva was fighting with that kidnapper and then she forced the gun on herself.

I can't decide if Eva is attractive or not. She's got these 2 bumps on her nose that look like zits ready to explode. I actually think Anne-Marie is more attractive.

Then the kidnappers being executed by the black hooded assassins. Not sure who they were.

Surprised by the reveal at the end that the mother was behind the kidnapping.

I'm guessing most of you here aren't watching or aren't really interested since it's not really a serialized show. It's pretty much case of the week. But I think the international scenics and international cast makes it somewhat different and fresh. If you're still watching, but don't have anything to say, there is only 4 more episodes left. So hang in there.

Re: Crossing Lines (William Fichtner, Donald Sutherland) -- New Action series (NBC)

This thread is older but not episode specific...

I don't know what the status is for a second season (probably not good) but seriously, multiple plots ending in cliffhangers.

Re: Crossing Lines (William Fichtner, Donald Sutherland) -- New Action series (NBC)

http://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/cr...wal-nbc-29644/

Renewed for a 12 episode 2nd season, but as of right now it's only for the European market.

NBC has not made a decision about picking up season 2 yet.

Everyone in the cast is returning. Carrie-Ann Moss and Ray Stevenson will also be in season 2.

I know this show never really caught on here, especially being on Sunday with more high profile shows. But I wouldn't mind seeing this air next summer.

I liked it. And I definitely want to know how it continues after the season finale.

Hopefully NBC will air it here. But Fichtner is coming back? Huh, I read an interview that gave off the idea he hated making the show.

Crossing Lines (Netflix) -- Series Thread

For those who remember, season 1 aired on NBC 2 summers ago.

Season 2 was just posted to Netflix a few months ago. It's a 12 episode season.

Some news just came out today.

http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/02/cro...rd-season.html

Renewed for a 3rd season

http://deadline.com/2015/02/elizabet...-3-1201376812/

Elizabeth Mitchell and Goran Visnjic are joining the show as series regulars.

William Fichtner is leaving the show.

Revolution and Lost alumna Elizabeth Mitchell and Goran Visnjic (ER) are set to star in the third season of Tandem Communications’ Europe-set action/crime drama, Crossing Lines. The two join Donald Sutherland as series leads and will fill a void left by original Crossing Lines star William Fichtner, who will not be returning for Season 3.

The series has been greenlit for 12 episodes with X-Files veteran Frank Spotnitz, who has a first-look deal with Tandem, joining as executive producer alongside Tandem’s Rola Bauer. Crossing Lines creator/executive producer Ed Bernero departed after the end of Season 2 to be close to his family in California. The series films in Europe with action getting underway next week in Prague.

Crossing Lines revolves around a squad of European law enforcement officers — led in the first two seasons by Carl Hickman (Fitchner) — who battle the explosion of international crime that accompanied the opening of borders by the European Union.

Mitchell and Visnjic will play Carine Strand and Marco Corazza, new members of the elite team of officers investigating cross-border crimes. Additional new series regulars include Stuart Martin (Babylon) and Naomi Battrick (Waterloo Road). Sutherland will reprise his role as Michel Dorn. Also returning for Season 3 are Tom Wlaschiha and Lara Rossi.

Season 3 picks up six months after the conclusion of Season 2. After one of his top prosecutors vanishes, Dorn must reactivate the ICC team as the group struggles to re-establish its battered identity. The third season will have a new emphasis on relevant and contemporary cross-border crime.

For the record, I haven't had time to start season 2 yet. But, I did like season 1 when it aired.

No word when season 3 will air. My guess it will probably end up on Netflix as well.

Here's the season 2 trailer:
