A fun episode--at least the Pete and Myka part of it was fun. The "self-destructive Artie" storyline is kind of ham-handed. I wonder how long they'll string that out.

Missi Pyle was also a guest star. It's always nice to see her. She and Colantoni both played Thermians in Galaxy Quest.

Well, this sucks. Renewed for a 6 episode 5th and final season. Production will begin this summer for a 2014 airdate.

At least SyFy is seeing fit to let it wrap up properly, just like the CW is allowing with Nikita. No renewal shell games or "its safe for you to take another job" BS. Community has been through the "will they or won't they" renewal ringer every year and this year was pitiful in terms of letting them know. They were the last kids to be picked for the team, literally. Then Southland got its death notice along with its death warrant at the same time.

With that said, this was a fun episode and I loved the retro titles. The kicker was the gloves and how they came to be an artifact. The jab at the cars being the same was awesome.

This is a fun show for the most part (killing characters = bad) Seasons are broken up oddly, it looks like this is the same season that started last July yet it was off for so many months it might as well be a new season. I feel like there will be a ten month gap for season five to get just six episodes.

Hopefully when Primeval: New World will take away some of the pain. I just hope it's not a cheesy version of the original.
