Love it whenever he puts Cersei in her place.

Great episode, loved Jamie's monologue.

Also, I think this is a more appropriate title for this episode:

Great scenes all around. Charles Dance sure does own that role. I wonder if anyone has yet changed their mind on their feelings toward Jamie. That was an excellent monologue.

So many iconic book moments in tonight's episode. They've really done a great job setting the stage for the remaining 5 episodes.

Oh, and in case you hadn't heard, they're taking Memorial Day weekend off so you'll have to wait 2 weeks from episode 8 to 9.

It won't show up on HBO Go? I seem to remember them putting it up early in the past.

That I don't know. They did something like that in season 1, but season 2 ran straight through. In fact, it was Blackwater that aired on Memorial Day weekend because I remember trying hard to get it at the lake house with terrible internet.

Even if they put it on HBO Go, do you think they'd advance both episodes 9 and 10 by a week that way at the expense of the set-top audience? If not, then you'd be waiting 2 weeks between 9 and 10. Either way, we wait.

If he hadn't pushed the kid out the window, I could see liking him a lot more.

I honestly don't know why they ever take holidays off since with no commercials does it really matter when people watch it either on Sunday, dvr recording or one of the multiple replays during the week?

It's just about ratings. I don't know how "Blackwater" did last Memorial Day vs. "You Win or You Die" the year before.

My own speculation based on season structure trends:
Spoiler:
It's the 9th episode. The previous episodes 9s have been the big ones each season. If this season does the same, I can understand why they'd want live viewers.

Of course. I think a lot more people would too but thats the thing about this series. It totally changes they way you feel about certain characters as the series goes on and it is usually due to a certain scene. For Jamie, most people say it is the bathhouse scene.

Good episode - very mystical one, too. The fire sword, etc.

It was good to see some Ygritte white ass. She's got a smokin' little body. Redbush.

Re: Game of Thrones -- "Kissed by Fire" -- 4/28/13

Despite not having an epic set piece scene like last week, I think I liked this episode more overall. Some really good scenes for multiple characters. It was a small one, but the scene where Arya learns that Gendry is planning on staying with the Brotherhood almost broke my heart. I can't wait to see Sansa's face when she learns who her new husband is going to be

So is Sirene (sp?) like half-dragon or something? Is that what Dany's son would have looked like (that "healer" said he had scales)?

*This isn't really a big spoiler, but since they didn't explain her appearance I'm going to tag it anyway*

The drunk red priest has been a good addition to the show.

Very good monologue but he's still an incestuous (attempted) child murderer.

As someone who hates book spoilers but was wondering about that, thank you.
