The Target's in my area did a reset this week, though it wasn't as noticeable as the last 2-3. The TV section changed a bit, but it's hard for me to figure out most of exactly what changed. What confirmed it for me was when I saw that they got rid of the two-packs of That 70's Show S1&2 and S5&6 and brought in S7&8. In any event, for people interested they might find something new there of interest.

World's Greatest Superfriends? Since I don't have a clear picture, is that the remaining HB episodes that have never been released? All the 6-8 minute episodes?

Edited to say I checked Wikipedia and it listed what the episodes are, apparently the never release Season 4. So I know i'll be going to Target on Tues to get this to add to the rest of my Super Friends DVD's.

The run of the shorts however, still apparently isn't out yet.

Target changed some of the titles in that bargain TV series section. They were on sale for 11.99, here's some of the new ones I noticed:

McMillan & Wife S2, S3
Murder She Wrote, S5, S6
Highway Patrol S4
Cagney & Lacey S2, S3.1

I saw that the reset was wider than I thought, apparently the stores in my area had only begun on Thursday and did more on Friday. The sci-fi TV endcap looks like it's being replaced with a classic family TV show endcap with shows like the Brady Bunch S1, Cosby Show S1, Reba S1 and Eight is Enough S1.

In the bargain TV section they removed 24 S8 and Entourage S8 and put them in the regular TV section (Wherehouse 13 S3 went there too) and got rid of the rest of the Entourages. It looked like Community S1 is gone and Çamelot S1 from there too. They added Mad About You S4,5 which just happen to be the only two Seasons I'm missing, though I'm not sure how well those might appeal to anyone else.

Saw Rockford Files Season One and Rockford Files Season Two in my local Target, $11.98 each.

As I recall, I avoided getting these when they first came out because they were supposed to be the two-sided discs with issues. Does anyone know if this is still the case or if they've been changed to single sided discs? The Season One packaging seemed to show Disc One, Two and Three so I assume those are still two sided, but I could not tell regarding Season Two just by looking at the packaging. They seemed inexpensive enough to take a chance, tho.

The back cover said they were double sided discs so they must be the original release. I personally have never had trouble with the double sided discs, so I think it's just a playback problem with certain machines.

You've been lucky. I have had several such releases with a bad disk or two. It typically strikes only an ep. or two but when it skips/hangs it does so in every player I own including portables and computer drives. I don't necessarily avoid such releases but when purchased they immediately go to the top of the viewing queue so if there *are* problems I can get them addressed before the return window expires.

as for the double sided discs, only had trouble with early sets of Abbott and Costello...tv shows like Magnum PI or Columbo, no issues...

This is a little late, but Mad Men Season 5 is also on sale for $16.99. Target has an exclusive disc of Matthew Weiner and the cast on "Inside the Actor's Studio."

Picked up that dallas season 13 I know it sucks but have not seen the later seasons i already had season 14(I got used for $7). It was the only copy they had.
