Ok, if done right this could be really good
Oblivion creator Joseph Kosinski and*Pacific Rim*writer Travis Beacham are teaming up for a new series at AMC. Titled "Ballistic City," the show will tell the story of "a former cop thrust into the criminal underworld of a city housed in a generational spaceship destined for an unknown world." The show's inspirations are said to come from Chinatown and Blade Runner.

Heard about this today. Sounds like this is one of several scripted projects AMC has in the works. Looks like they're well aware BB and MM are both ending soon.
"King," a '60s political drama from Joe Scarborough and ex-"Sopranos" writers Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider; sci-fi drama "Ballistic City," from "Pacific Rim" writer Travis Beacham and "Oblivion" director Joseph Kosinski; "Ashland," set in '50s Kentucky and created by indie film queen Allison Anders; "White City," about journalists and diplomats living in Afghanistan; an untitled drama from "Mad Men" writer Dahvi Waller about two brothers running a New York automobile business in the '20s; an untitled sci-fi series set in a future where we're on the verge of a second American revolution; and "The Wall," an espionage drama set in '60s Berlin.

AMC needs new scripted shows badly.
Low Winter Sun, which also airs in August does sound promising.
