Band Of Brothers is my favorite everything. Best mini-series, best movie, best BR.
The Pacific, Earth To The Moon, and Generation Kill were all good stories but I still give BoB the nod for being the best.
To be fair, I have not seen everything on the list. I heard great things about John Adams but to date have not gotten around to picking it up.

John Adams. Band of brothers felt more like a one year series, than a mini-series. Also like the time period of John Adams

Tourgasm? Really? You couldn't have picked any other series, which would've been better than that load of crap
My pick was Band of Brothers

I've enjoyed many HBO Mini-series, but Band of Brothers is the only one I've watched five times (the last time was last week) so it gets my vote.

I'll go with The Corner since it's listed, but I loved House of Saddam just as much. I really wish they would put that out on blu.

I did like this series. I owned it for a while but then after viewing it a couple times I sold it. Especially for those of us that grew up during those times it holds special meaning. I think I was 9 when literally the entire world was watching men land and walk on the moon for the first time. It seems so prehistoric now, but the whole family plus relatives from out of town were gathered around the 19" black and white TV watching history unfold.

Angels in America
Not gay but liked the performances of Pacino, Streep, and Patrick Wilson.

Both well done but too many characters in Generation Kill, especially the officers were characterized as unlikeable and nothing to admire. In The Pacific, I just think the source material was not as compelling. The conditions were horrific but the characters never felt real. Every one in BoB felt like my grandfather

Re: What Is Your Favorite HBO Miniseries?
I'd rank 'em:
Band of Brothers
From the Earth to the Moon
Angels in America
Generation Kill
John Adams
The Pacific
Band of Brothers is up there with the best mini-series of all time. I own Mildred Pierce on Blu-ray but haven't given it a spin yet. Been meaning to watch The Corner.
