FYI, full slate of College Hoops on CBS along with the NCAA Selection show. Small possibility you may need to pad if you're in the East and Central markets.

Winona is just a terrible teammate but Chuck is whipped. She's done 1 roadblock? And was even forced to do that one on the first episode. She should have done the bizarre ode to socialism roadblock but made Chuck do it. That was nothing physical about it. They got lucky David and Conner had to quit.
Sorry to see David and Conner go. Seems like they truly are nice people who really had bad luck with the injury. Hopefully they recover and come back for an unfinished business edition.

Got tired of them threatening to quit so I'm glad they finally went through with it.
Max is starting to grow on me. I've been a fan of Katie's almost from the get go but couldn't stand Max but now I sort of get it.
I'm not really sure what's going on with Joey and Meghan? Are they pretending to be a real couple or do they just do internet skits together? There is not a chance in the world that that guy likes women.

I actually agree with this. I'm sorry for what they've been through but what that kid did at the end of the last episode was pretty shady.
As for this episode, I don't know if its because of how they are editing it or what but Wynona just comes across as lazy. Poor Chuck.

I was thinking with the double u-turn, it would be a non-elim leg even without the father/son withdrawal, but then when they bunched everyone up at the beginning, a couple was going home.
I think Winona is a decent racer, it's Chuck that doesn't think things out or read things and just goes and does whatever.
Team country singers are just as dumb. It almost seemed like they poached the players already on the board.

Maybe it's just me but I feel like most of these teams are terrible. Even the teams that come in first are always screaming where do we go, what do we do! Nobody is dominant so it should be a crazy finish but most of these teams wouldn't even sniff a final leg on most seasons (except maybe the family season). It might be that I'm just burnt out watching around 3 seasons a year.

Everyone seems like a bunch of teams that would get eliminated early in any other season.

Posted this in the current Hawaii 5-0 thread but figured it could go here as well.
The latest episode of Hawaii 5-0 had a roller derby theme. They could have had the roller derby moms Mona and Beth (who are taking part in the latest edition-Amazing Race Season 22) show up as members of the Diamond Dolls or Sirens. (Not that Hawaii 5-0 needs the boost but there could have been promotion during Sundays episode of Amazing Race - see Mona and Beth our Roller Derby moms take part in a roller-derby theme episode of Hawaii 5-0 - this Monday night! 10:00 pm ET - only on CBS!)
Hawaii 5-0 would have returned the favor that Amazing Race as during Season 20 - Taylor Wily aka Kamekona handed out clues to the teams while they are in Hawaii. "In this Leg's first Roadblock, teams had to make a traditional Japanese treat brought to Hawaii known as shave ice. Using a katana, they would have to shave enough ice to fill a bucket to a given line. Once complete, actor Taylor Wily would give them their next clue."
After that happened, I was thinking that they could have had a Amazing Race theme episode of Hawaii 5-0 - like one of the contestants gets killed during a task in Hawaii and the other contestants and even host Phil Koeghan are suspects. The crew solves the case and two of them are invited to take part in the next edition of Amazing Race - we then see footage of them at the starting line and Phil does his Go! Danny would then fall down at the start like some contestants have done in the past - or we see Phil eliminating Steve and Danny at the mat on the first leg. LOL!
Thanks for the info about the title - it was indeed Pam or Winnie talking about Max.

I liked Dave and Connor. Sucked to see them have to pull out. But, with Dave's injury there was just no way they could continue.
If they do a 2nd Unfinished Business edition, I'd like to see them get another shot. But, with Dave's injury and his age, it's going to be awhile. I believe it takes at least 18 months to fully recover from a ruptured achilles.
That Pho challenge was kind of stupid other than the racers trying to gather the correct ingredients. That "Chef" liked all their dishes and only ate 1 damn piece of meat.

Looks like some people were offended that about last weeks episode for using the shot down B-52 as a backdrop to the U-Turn and for airing the communist propaganda song.
I guess they don't mind us seeing other cultures as long as it's all pro-america

The popular CBS reality show "The Amazing Race” is under fire for featuring an episode set in Hanoi, Vietnam, where contestants go to a B-52 Memorial, which is the wreckage of an American bomber plane shot down during the Vietnam War, to find the next clue in their televised round-the-world journey.
In the episode, the twisted metal of the downed plane is treated as any other prop, with a bright ‘Amazing Race’ ‘Double-U-Turn’ signed planted in front of it, signifying to contestants the next phase of their scavenger hunt.
The show also had contestants learn a song that was performed for them by children in front of a portrait of North Vietnam communist leader Ho Chi Minh, with subtitled lyrics that included “Vietnam Communist Party is glorious. The light is guiding us to victory.”
“It’s like One Direction,” one contestant said of the performance, referring to the popular boy band.
“How did it not cross the producers’ minds that this might offend the men who fought in Vietnam and the families of those who died there?” Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld said on his late night show “Red Eye.”
Fox News contributor Bob Beckel agreed later on the news program “The Five.”
“I’m so outraged by this I can’t believe it. CBS is idiotic; they’re stupid,” Beckel said. “To have people go to a memorial where Americans died, then you ought to get off the network.”The two weren’t alone in their opinions.
“So, did anyone but me find the ‘Amazing Race’ going to Hanoi and extolling the greatness of Hanoi offensive?” a viewer remarked online. “Especially the part where the contestants had a ‘clue’ box at a Hanoi monument of a downed B-52? And none of them even slowed down to look at it or reflect on what it meant?”
“This will ensure that I will continue to miss the 'Amazing Race,'" wrote one on an online message board, while another on the same board added: “I don’t know how many Vietnam vets are on here, but there should be a campaign to have CBS apologize publicly.”
An email for comment from a rep for ‘The Amazing Race" was not immediately returned.
Almost 60,000 Americans lost their lives in the Vietnam War.
