A mod can get rid of them. I was just so excited for this I wanted to make sure everyone remembered. And I was home sick and bored so I figured I'd help out and do the rest. sorry.

Now THAT is how you do a season finale.
Great episode overall. Some resolution, but left enough plot threads dangling (while creating new ones) to make you come back for more.
I have loved every episode of this show, and this finale didn't didn't disappoint.

Jesus tittie fuckin christ, this was bananas! All the people behind these Cinemax shows need to start doing features. Action movies today aren't even half the quality of an episode of this or Strike Back.
The action in this was just ridiculous! I couldn't help but giggle like a little girl with that bazooka scene.
If this concept was done as a movie it would be so ludicrous... but 10 episodes developing the characters, things that normally would be stupid in a feature just seem fuckin cool in this.

Awesome finale. Rabbit isn't dead, no way. He will make an appearance next year. Loved the bombing of the casino and the finding of the real sheriff. Basically shifts it from being the mob after Hood, to law enforcement. Even more so now that the real Hood's saw the fight video. Fantastic show. Glad Cinemax has started off with this and Strike Back.

I just want an episode that features Sugar and Job taking a road trip. This is one of those shows where I can take or leave the main characters and much prefer seeing what the supporting characters are up to.

Agreed, this was a pretty great finale. Closed out some loose ends from this season and set the stage for the next one. Overall, a solid freshman debut and hopefully it doesn't suffer from a sophomore slump.

Echo sentiments here - awesome finale and a great show.
Loved when they showed the corpse of the sheriff. Now we have a dead mayor as well.
Already wanting the next season...

i wonder if the real Hood's kid plays along with the ruse for his own benefit. maybe comes to town, lays some pipe with Rebecca and make's Kai jealous. Fake Hood bones down with Pocahontas aka "Hot Bill the Butcher", and has to betray them to pay back Kai's favor. Hopefully someone kills the jackass FBI agent, and then a sweet guitar wails. cue season 3.

Really good finale, in almost every aspect for me... except for the fact that Rabbit's alive. He was very obviously meant to be killed, at least before the show got renewed. They threw in a lame line about "oh where did Rabbit go?" and now he gets to come back for next season. It felt way too forced for me, but I loved just about everything else. The mayor dying was cool (although why he was there was a little odd) the shootout was awesome, the cops deciding to help was a nice scene and the scene with the real Hood's son was a nice payoff.

Amazing finale, amazing show. I like that the whole situation left Hood really fucked up, and he didn't just bounce back from a shootout like every other action character ever.

Re: Banshee - A Mixture of Madness - Season Finale - 3/15/13
Watched the first episode on Youtube, then the rest of the season on Comcast/Xfinity Watchathon week. What a great show! Just a few thoughts on the finale and season:
Other than Rabbit presumably surviving, the finale was really satisfying. I was thinking "Hood" and "Carrie" would have to get out of Banshee (then what about the series title?), but the husband leaving made sense, and there were a lot of intriguing threads to follow up on.
The shot of the police etc. advancing toward the factory with guns drawn was totally cliche, but it was still awesome.
I'm not generally a fan of flaming cross-dressing characters, but I really like Job. Maybe because he's also a bad-ass.
The women as noted in earlier threads are ridiculously hot, like Carrie coming out of the tub. Siobhan the deputy should be hot but looks a little plain in comparison, but I did like the inference when she said "When it's time for you to spend the night, it won't be to protect me." So will Odette Yustman be naked in the next season?
OK, I admit I wouldn't mind the violence being toned down a tic, but the fights are really well done. The albino fight was a real cringer.
I was interested in this series after I got hooked on Strike Back, but I think I might like this better. The plot is so intriguing, and the sex can happen at any time, while in Strike Back it tends to be either a Scott conquest at the beginning or end, or something in a villain's compound that might not be all that pleasant to watch. Plus the women are hotter. Also, I was thinking there's a bit of sameness to the Strike Back military plots, but then I watched three episodes of Strike Back season 2 and was reminded how good that show's plots actually are. So maybe that part is a draw.
I'll have to see if I can resist Cinemax when the second season starts.

I've been watching this all last week on Comcast On Demand. It really got me hooked by the 3rd ep when Hood beat the shit out of the MMA guy. Now looking forward to next season.

Banshee‘s resident Big Bad has a brother — and he too has evil coursing through his veins.
Julian Sands (24, Smallville) has booked a multi-episode Season 2 arc on the Cinemax hit as Rabbit’s (Ben Cross) equally as dangerous younger brother who also happens to be a devout and amoral Ukrainian priest.
Sands is set to appear in three episodes.
Sands joins a Season 2 guest cast that also includes Damages Emmy winner Zeljko Ivanek as Jim Racine, a chain smoking, renegade FBI agent who has been tracking Rabbit for 15 years.
Banshee ended its freshman season last month as Cinemax’s most-watched original series.
Production on Season 2 began this week.

Uh, yes please! I didn't catch that he was on the guest list - super excited. Loved him in Damages and met him briefly after a play he was in and he's quite awesome. Super shy but cool guy.

Just finished the season. This is a really, really, really dumb show but I was thoroughly entertained.
I prefer Strike Back, but one thing I really appreciate about the Cinemax Series' are the action sequences. I have become completely numb to Hollywood movies and it is so refreshing to watch a well made action sequence with the cameraman using a tripod.

I know it's not the same thing, but when I see a reference to this Lifetime series I can't help thinking of the hot Amish daughter.
