The fight scenes in this show remind me of the sex scenes in Strike Back. There's always one in every episode.

I don't see how Rabbit lasts the season. Hood can't have a fight on both fronts next season. Fucking killer cliffhanger for the end of the episode.

with Rebecca showing a willingness to get violent, cutting the biker a few episodes ago, i am thinking she makes a good protege for Kai. looking forward to seeing where this goes.

You're right about the fight scenes. That was my first thought when the fight between Hood and Kai started up... like they needed to fill a quota.

I'm curious to see how they wrap this season up. Unless they plan on ending on a cliffhanger, Rabbit needs to be dead. I'm kind of expecting the DA to get killed so that Anna can be a free agent next season, but maybe they'll throw us a curve ball.

Another great, albeit short flight between Hood and Kai.

This show is criminally underappreciated here. It's one of the most badass new action series next to Strike Back. You're missing out. Seriously, do only a handful of people in this forum have Cinemax?

I don't have Cinemax (or any premium cable channel). I just wandered into this thread to see if I should pick up this show on optical media like I did with Strike Back. I guess I have my answer.

This season has flown by. Can't believe next week is the season finale already.

It is underappreciated. I love it. I just don't comment on it after every show but I make it appointment TV. And it helps that the all the women are insanely hot and naked which doesn't please my wife because she watches it with me.

Yep, I've loved every episode as well since DJariya told me to check it out (granted, he likes everthing ). Guess I have to catch up on Strike Back now too.

As I said in last week's thread, it's not perfect, and you have to stretch your imagination a bit (which you have to do with everything, really), but above all it's entertaining, and that's all that really matters to me in the long run when it comes to TV shows.

I had to purge the last 3 episodes from my DVR due to a space issue.

I need to spend a night with the On Demand before Fri to catch up.

And that answers my other question about whether it's like Strike Back.

Re: Banshee -- "Always the Cowboy" -- 3/08/13

Got caught up with the last 2 episodes last night.

Fucking awesome episode. Loved the cliffhanger. I can't wait until next week. I agree, I can't see how they continue this storyline with Rabbit into season 2.

Holy shit, Rebecca is just insanely hot. Her in the bathing suit. However, the scenes with her and Uncle Kai are really creepy. I was about ready to vomit if Procter made a sexual advance to her.

I know Hood and Carrie/Anna have some kind of bond and especially now that he knows her daughter is his, but I think he should go for Rebecca. Young, smoking hot and zero baggage....will except Procter.

at the fight scene between Hood and Procter.

Bringing in Odette Annable. I liked the little bonus scene with her after the credits.

BTW, did anyone see the behind the scenes footage from Strike Back season 3 after the episode? They teased some good stuff. Looks like Scott and Stonebridge will be taking their antics to Bogota.

It always trips me up hearing those guys in their native tongue. Unfortunately, looks like we'll have some downtime once Banshee ends -- assuming Strike Back is a few months out at least (haven't heard a premiere date).

Yeah Strike Back probably won't air until sometime in August. The footage said they were only on Day 16 shooting. Sullivan Stapleton's really thick Aussie accent stands out. His real speaking voice sounds nothing like Scott.

The next show that will supposedly air after Banshee will be The Transporter.

It pissed me off and delighted me at the same damn time.
