Bonnie Franklin (One Day at a Time) dies at age 69

http://www.deadline.com/2013/03/bonn...t-a-time-star/

RIP

Apparently she had been suffering from Pancreatic cancer. I'm guessing most of the posters here have never heard of or remember Ms. Franklin since her sitcom was popular in the mid 70's until it ended in 1984.

If any of you watch Hot in Cleveland on TVLand, that was Valerie Bertinelli's first major starring role. She played Franklin's daughter.

One Day at a Time isn't exactly an obscure sitcom - even to those under 30.

Just looked up her bio - she really hasn't done much since ODAAT.

Schneider will outlive us all, even with his pack of smokes rolled under his sleeve.

I watched it a lot... surprised to know Pat Harrington is still alive. I thought Schneider had passed away some time ago.
