Well I tried - even tried to pick a gullible cashier - she looked at the coupons and said only one can be used. So got the one with figure for $11.96

My local WM is selling it for $24.96, not $18.96. (At least that's the price on the shelf tag.) Guess I'll have to go to BB or Target to get it $2 cheaper.

I never even saw a gift set at my Walmart and I got there pretty early. They claimed they put everything out. So it's in a bigger box and includes a small figurine? Is that the difference? Unfortunately I already used my 2 $7 coupons on the 2 disc version... 1 for me and 1 as a gift.

Ringing up 24.96 here in OKC. Weekly ad said 24.96 as well. I would really get more pissed that Oklahoma keeps getting the raw end of walmart deals....if I thought it was worth it to fight the people of walmart on a regular basis.

Same thing happened with the Black Friday ads. Oklahoma prices were considerably higher on games and discs.

Thanks for the heads up OP! I was able to get in under the wire and got a Gift Set for $13.56 (after tax). The little figure is kind of cheesy but I figured why not since it didn't cost extra.

Same here. Scanned at $24.96 today at my store. Don't know if something changed today, or if my store just sucks... I'll try a different store tomorrow, but I don't expect it to be any different. Milwaukee stores never seem to have the WM prices others report.

Oh crap, I forgot it expired on the 8th. I was thinking Saturday the entire time. DOH! I'll try still to use it today. Target is usually lenient on coupons. It's not like they can't redeem it still.

I wouldn't be surprised that Walmart raised the price today on the gift set. However, with their ad in hand they'd have to honor the 2 disc BD edition through today.

Because I couldn't decide and was in a hurry at both stores this week, I picked up both the Walmart gift set and the Target digibook for $18.96 - $7 coupon each. Now I have to decide which to keep... a plastic figurine or a storybook. Decisions decisions. I'm guessing most people would keep the storybook?

I like the fact I have 90 days to procrastinate my decision.
