My Sassy Girl: Director's Cut -- 02/19/2013
This Korean comedy is being released on 02/19/2013 by Asian Media Rights. I have never heard of this company and was wondering if this is a legit release of one of my favorite Korean comedies.

I have the Hong Kong director's cut DVD so I don't need this. It is a little frustrating that the Hong Kong DVD is Region 3, because it is one of my favorite movies and it's almost pointless for me to recommend it to friends and family, because I'm the only one who has region free capability for DVDs.
I've never heard of this company either. I hope that they are interested in putting out quality versions of Korean (and other Asian) movies. There are so many interesting movies that have only been released on now unavailable Korean and Hong Kong DVDs.

The company is called "Asian Crush" and it seems to be legitimate.

I have a DVD of this that I bought in Chinatown back in 2004. I saw it and liked it and even got the original manga. I also bought a DVD of the 2008 U.S. remake but haven't yet watched that--it went straight to DVD. Anyone seen the remake?

There's no detail on the Amazon page but I have preordered it and I'll let you guys know, if there's any special features.

I can't find a review of this yet anywhere.
-Amazon lists it at 1:33:1. Surely this is incorrect? Is it anamorphic widescreen, though?
-Is the running time 137 minutes? It says "Director's Cut" on the cover image, but, again, Amazon lists it at 123 minutes...
-I would really like to know how the subtitles are on this. Are they the English-Hearing-Impaired like the Starmax (describing sounds)? The Edko DVD, with 'regular' subtitles, has a couple of badly translated/transcribed parts (I'm thinking of the scene where the two characters are talking on the apartment terrace closer to the end of the film).
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
