Great episode. That ending came out of NOWHERE especially considering how they've been dancing around the point for so long.

The melon-head Nick that Jess had made and they smashed at the end was equally shocking.

great episode, but was anyone upset with the way Schmidt cock blocked Nick?
Decker clearly chose Nick, and friends dont do that to friends. In real life Schmidt would have gotten knocked out for doing that

I agree. They make jokes about Schmidt being a d-bag, but usually he really isn't. In fact, he usually seems like a pretty good friend, in spite of his basic shallowness. This was the first time he really seemed like a genuine a-hole.

I like the idea of Jess and Nick as a couple, but you know they won't do it this early. It will probably be teased on and off for the rest of the season. Nick was clearly cast in the beginning to be Jess's eventual love interest.
