Continuum -- "Wasting Time" -- 1/28/13
Synopsis:
Kiera and Carlos investigate a murder spree in which the victims have strange holes bored in their skulls.
Episode 3 of 10
FYI, They just started production of season 2 this week. Most likely it will air in Canada this summer. If SyFy renews it, they probably won't air it until later this year.

I liked this episode better than the first two. We are getting to know some of the gang members better, and seeing some of their internal conflict.
The fight at the end was pretty good--nice twist at the end of the fight.
So the kid genius's parents are part of some secret separatist group or something? I need to watch that part again.

For some reason I am losing interest in this show. The fight scene was cool but I just don't care about any of the characters.

I still enjoy the show. Thought this episode was alright. What hurt it for me was the bad editing in some scenes. There was some really awkward cuts from one scene with some dramatic music, to all of the sudden a quiet scene.
The fight scene near the end with Terry Chen and Victor Webster along with Nichols was good. Some cool martial arts chereography.
BTW, how the hell was Kiera able to casually walk into a Police evidence storage room and just take that piece from last week? Man, the Vancouver PD is pretty sloppy.
This may seem weird, but I actually think Lexa Doig (the Asian female villain) is hotter than Nichols. Michael Shanks is a lucky guy.

^not weird at all. I've lusted after Lexa Doig since Andromeda. I think she's hotter than Nichols, too.

I do very much like the dynamic and conflict on the terrorists' side. Each of them seem to have their own agenda and personality within the group.

I think the cuts are bad, because of the commercial breaks. I mean, the commercials are aired in different spots than in the Canadian broadcasts, so that's why it seems terribly edited.
